Asia Madness and FIFA World Cup -- Backpacking Tips Asia, Issue #006
July 07, 2010

Hey!

Summertime and FIFA World Cup has hit my city hard and it feels great! World Cup has of course spread the madness across Asia, resulting in illegal gambling and increased alcohol sale.

And speaking of madness, ever since I got back from Thailand and Cambodia in May (this year), I’ve been updating and adding new articles like crazy. Koh Tao (Thailand) has been added to the site, and old articles about Bangkok and Koh Phangan have been updated.

Enjoy! ;-)

Amanda

PS! I hope my Canadian and American readers had a great time on 1st and 4th of July! :-)

New articles:

In the beginning of May, me and my boyfriend visited the charming island of Koh Tao in Thailand. I’ve heard so much about it, so why not stop by? ;-) The island is so small that we could walk from south to mid-west in 40 minutes, and the food, snorkeling, and atmosphere were great! Here’s an introduction to Koh Tao and how to get there:

After we visited Koh Tao, we took the trip to lovely Koh Phangan. When we arrived there, I had totally forgotten how beautiful it looks… This time we stayed in Had Yao beach (west of Koh Phangan).
