Kuala Lumpur Nightlife and Pubcrawls

PUBCRAWL!! Also known as barcrawling or bar hopping, if you haven't tried it yet you really are missing out!!

To give you some background on how it all started here is some info on us:

We are originally ourselves backpackers from Denmark. While backpacking around South East Asia we had a very hard time finding out where to go out at night when arriving to a new capital - especially which places were budget friendly as well as where we could meet other backpackers. When coming to Kuala Lumpur we were shocked that the prices on alcohol were so high (especially when we had just paid 50 cents for beer in Cambodia).

Second of all, we were always recommended to go to Sky Bar, Luna bar or other expensive high class places - this was definitely not what we as backpackers were looking for. A lot of the main places we got sent to in KL charge €7 + for a beer!

We put together a pubcrawl for friends, expats and couchsurfers. It became a massive success and people asked us to do it again. After a few great events (we had 74 people on one of them), we figured we would start it as a regular thing and try to get the backpacking community engaged!

So here we are, pubcrawling every Thursday and Saturday!

With the pubcrawl we'll hit the bars in Changkat, a popular nightlife area, and then end the night at a cool club. We have negotiated special prices with the bars just to make this a reality! - For you (ok ok also for us)!!!

So spice up your Thursday or Saturday and come crawling!
