Is Kampot in Cambodia worth visiting?

Question: Is it worth going to Kampot? I am heading to Sihanoukville and wondered if it is worth going there, and maybe Kep beforehand.

Answer: I'm glad that I went to Sihanoukville that one time, but that's about it. I don't think I would go there again. The beaches aren't as beautiful as Thailand and the begging along the beach is a big minus. PS. I went to Serendipity beach.
